What TV Channel is the National Finals Rodeo on ProRodeoTv live NFR 2017 CBS Sports Network

The Dec. 7-16 National Finals Rodeo will be exclusively broadcasted from the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, on ProRodeoTV.com. The 10-day Wrangler NFR is broadcast live on CBS Sports Network through DISH channel 158, and DirecTV channel 221. The PRCA is going digital old videos as far back as the 1959 NFR thus the content can be streamed on ProRodeoTV. On September, the PRCA has launched ProRodeoTV.com, a subscription-based product, with multiple distribution channels which will provide livestream more than 50 years of PRCA rodeo archives from around North America.

ProRodeoTV will broadcast PRCA-sanctioned rodeos live from around North America, including more than 20 of the organization’s biggest rodeos in 2018.

Fans domestically will be able to watch the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo presented by Polaris RANGER following a 12-hour delay after it has aired live. International subscribers will have live streaming access to the WNFR.

Watching the National Finals Rodeo livestream is as easy as logging on to ProRodeoTV.com and signing up for a subscription. The ProRodeoTV offers a variety of premium archived rodeo footage including videos of past NFR performances. ProRodeoTV will broadcast the National Finals Rodeo 2017 along with more than 20 rodeos during the 2018 season.

They determined it would be best for the PRCA to operate its own platform, giving it complete ownership rights to the content.

ProRodeoTV.com will generate revenue for its membership, providing a chance to give back to the organization.

The National Finals Rodeo Committee has named Boyd Polhamus to succeed Shawn Davis as production manager of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo presented by Polaris RANGER.

Known as the richest and most prestigious rodeo in the world, the Wrangler NFR attracts the top 15 contestants in bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, barrel racing, and bull riding to compete for a share of the $10 million purse and the coveted Gold Buckle. In 2016, the event had a total attendance of 168,859 over the 10 days of competition and has sold out more than 300 consecutive performances.
