Bareback Riding Qualifiers: The top 15 competitors in bareback riding are qualified by PRCA standings for NFR 2016. 3-time Wrangler NFR qualifier, Tim O’Connell, come back with a fury to get his gold buckle. He holds the number one position and his total earning is $178,964 in regular season. In NFR 2015 he won $131,353 at Las Vegas. Caleb Bennett, who is 5-time NFR qualifier 4-time RNCFR qualifier and 1-time RNCFR champion, has earned $132,494 in regular season. He grabs third place entering NFR this year. Tie-Down Roping Qualifiers: Congratulations to all the top fifteen tie-down roping NFR contestant to overcome qualifying. Marcos Costa, 2-time Wrangler NFR qualifier, holds the number one position and won $125,523 in regular season. Five-time NFR qualifier Timber Moore is going to participate another NFR. Last year he placed second position and he earned total of $149,281 for the year. Hunter Herrin, 9-time NFR qualifier, is the man who keeps his eyes on the winning championship. Barrel Racing Qualifiers: Congrats to all barrel racing top 15 ladies to overcome WPRA Barrel Racing standings. Mary Burger, 3-time Wrangler NFR qualifier, holds the number one position entering NFR this year earn $190,977. Jackie Ganter enters Wrangler NFR for second time and gram the second position. Last year she won Rookie of the Year and the world title with earnings of $116,387. The 2012 World Champion Mary Walker will start her 2016 NFR in 3rd position with $112,216. Four-time World Champion Sherry Cervi once again qualifies for the 2016 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo holding 12th position.
