The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo takes place a 10-day event for the 33rd consecutive year in Las Vegas at the Thomas & Mack Center. The Super Bowl of rodeo features competitions in bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, barrel racing and bull riding, with 20,000 of Western-clad visitors expected to pull for their favorite athletes at the world’s richest rodeo.

Each December, Las Vegas goes a little crazy for the country. Cowboys descend on the city and country music abounds when the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo returns.

In addition, fans can enjoy the ProRodeo Zone, the exclusive fan interactive area of the Wrangler NFR. Sponsors provide interactive activities in tents adjacent to the arena. The NFR Sponsor Hotels also have interactive tents set up in the NFR Village, on the plaza in front of the arena.

Cowboy Christmas, the longest running and ONLY “original” gift show of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo boasts over 300,000 square feet of show floor hosting 400 plus vendors from across the United States and Canada. Each year these vendors showcase their unique products which include: customized jewelry, western wear, boots and spurs, furniture, original art, handmade crafts, and pottery.

The San Angelo Roping Fiesta has held a special place in the hearts of thousands of roping fans for well over half a century. The shopping will be great with all the vendors at the Cowboy Christmas Gift Show in the coliseum and cattle barn. Vendors will be open 10 a.m.-6:30 Saturday and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday. If you are looking for a unique gift, this is the place to shop.

Argyle’s nine-year-old Lealond Henderson, whose nickname is Lelo, got into the rodeo business just before his third birthday.

“Actually, Lelo got into rodeo by accident,” Mom Deborah said. “We went for fun and thought he might get a charge out of riding a sheep. For the fun of it he rode a sheep at the North Texas Fair in Denton, got a face full of dirt, but loved the experience.”

Live entertainment by cowboy pickers, singers, songwriters, storytellers and poets will fill each hour on the stage, as visitors stop by to learn more about donating to Help Thy Neighbor and enjoy the variety show. Hopefully some great rodeo film will be shown when loud events from the other arena tend to drown out the musicians.

What TV Channel is the National Finals Rodeo on ProRodeoTv live NFR 2019 CBS Sports Network

What TV Channel is the National Finals Rodeo on ProRodeoTv

The National Finals Rodeo will be exclusively broadcasted from the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, on ProRodeoTV. The 10-day Wrangler NFR is broadcast live on CBS Sports Network through DISH channel 158, and DirecTV channel 221. The broadcast will be available via home computers, laptops, tablets, and smartphones.

The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association has taken a big step forward in offering fans the chance an easy way to watch rodeos all over the country. ProRodeoTV is the newest offering by the PRCA as a subscription-based service where you can watch every single PRCA rodeo throughout the year for a yearly subscription price of $80 per year. That is an incredible deal for rodeo fans and the service is not restricted to any country so no matter where you live in the world you can watch your favorite cowboys compete in their rodeo events. This is a great way to watch the 2019 National Finals Rodeo.

If you live in the United States and purchase a subscription you will have to wait 12 hours after the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo airs on the CBS Sports Network in order to watch the event. But, if you live anywhere else in the world you can watch the 2019 National Finals Rodeo in real time from Las Vegas every single night from December 5th to the 14th. The PRCA is trying to grow their international audience and make it easy for fans from New Zealand to Mexico to be able to tune into the WNFR.

We can effectively reach our fan base with unique, live programming in a way that’s never been done before,” PRCA Commissioner Karl Stressman said. “And that’s pretty cool.”

The PRCA made a great decision to create their own entity to stream their content so that they could retain the rights to all of their content. Owning their own content is vital in 2019 because then they can monetize it in any way they see fit.

Creating their own service allows the PRCA to put more money back into its organization and continue to grow the sport of rodeo for all future cowboys and rodeo fans. The PRCA is dedicated to continuing to grow the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo and creating ProRodeoTV is a great way to increase their viewership numbers to entice more sponsors.

“This is not only an opportunity to put more rodeo content at the disposal of our fans, but also a way to bring more money into the PRCA, which benefits the hard-working members of our association,” Stressman said. “ProRodeoTV is the future, and the future is now.”

The ProRodeoTV is not just great for watching the current rodeos, you can watch old clips as well. The PRCA has used a lot of resources and time to digitize old rodeo videos that subscribers to ProRodeoTV can watch. The ProRodeoTV has footage and clips dating back to the 1959 National Finals Rodeo. If you are a fan of rodeo then you have to get the subscription so you can check out all of the incredible historical footage.

ProRodeo TV even airs events such as the Canadian National Finals Rodeo, which takes place from October 30 – November 4, 2019, in Alberta, Canada. This is the only place that you can watch the event unless you live in Canada. If the rodeo is not being aired on the CBS Sports Network and you live in the United States then you can watch the event live and you do not have to wait the mandatory 12 hour period.

Everyone in rodeo is excited about ProRodeo TV and it will continue to help grow the sport of rodeo and ensure that all of the Cowboys will be well taken care of. The subscription-based service is the best way to watch all of the PRCA sanctioned rodeos all over the US and it only costs $80 a year which is incredibly cheap. Make sure that you subscribe as soon as possible so you can start watching the PRCA’s next rodeo!
