During the early 1980s, a PRCA cowboy’s wife came up with the idea of giving kids their first rodeo experience. The idea was brought to life through the partnership between PRCA and Prescott Frontier Days, Inc. This is how annual special events at the World’s Oldest Rodeo came to be. During rodeo events, each contestant can participate, and all events are held on the ground. With the help of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and Horses With Heart, all riders will be treated to a cowboy dinner and rodeo kick-off:
